Taxi Booking component can be used for online taxi booking, online coach booking, online limosine booking, online cab booking and is a complete distance charge based online reservation system.
Joomla 1.5 only currently - please note that no refunds will be issued if you purchased but would like to run it on Joomla 1.7 as new version for Joomla 1.7 is coming soon.

Taxi Booking is Joomla component that installs easy and has very user friendly management interface.
Designed for United Kingdom's market, but can be modified for any country that has got good Google Maps coverage.
Once installed Taxi Booking will provide the website owner with a booking system that will make bookings and take PayPal payments right on the website.
Taxi Booking's comprehensive capability will email the customer a booking confirmation and then automatically send an email when the website owner changes the booking status.
The website owner will receive a notification of the booking made as well with all details about it and will then be able to go to the admin interface and add a Driver and change booking status to Accepted, Rejected or Archived.
All orders are stored in the back end and can be accessed any time and each update will trigger auto email to the client.
Booking web form is easy to understand and very user friendly. It will calculate the distance between Pick up and Drop off locations via Google Maps API (which the website owner has to input in the back end configuration panel) and then calculate the total price multiplying miles distance by the charge per mile (that is also configurable in back end) and add any extras like Child seat, Oversized luggage, Multiple luggage, Airport pickup fee etc. (all extras configurable in back end as well).
Then the booking form will present the client with the Total amount for the journey and will ask for trip specific details like dates and times of travel.
The client will be presented with 2 payment options: PayPal (if configured in back end) or Pay Cash (pay the driver directly).
Taxi Booking is very easy to understand and manage, with a very user friendly interface but also powerful and sophisticated functionality that runs in the back end and gives the most to both website owner and clients who book taxi online.
